I'm forever reattaching doors & my kids are quite gentle with their toys. I think boys go through phases of being rough when they play but it's not purposeful like throwing things around - it's just how they play. They are busy busy! But come to think of it, my daughter went through this stage too. So guess it's just kids being kids ;) But as parents, that can be a bit annoying when they do it to new toys, especially if they are a bit on the expensive side, isn't it? That's what life with kids and being a parent is all about I guess. Mine aren't too bad so far, though little one definitely has a bit more of a destructive streak than the eldest, but she's more of a throw things than break them type (though one day throwing something WILL break it!)I think most kids grow out of it. Her son is 4 and has always been so rough on toys. It's not that he means to ruin everything, but his play always seems to include fighting, running, jumping and throwing toys. He doesn't seem to listen, either. It sounds like your little one loves taking cars apart. Perhaps he will become a mechanic or another trade?
