I have to admit I have been pretty shocking at doing last months bucket list. Illness just got in the way and this month has just swept by in antibiotics and lack of sleep. Here is to March and the start of spring!
An update on last months bucket list.
An update on last months bucket list.
1. Bake a little more. We kind of did this, once! Hoping once we have moved and settled we will get into it a bit more. And my hint of really wanting a Kitchen Aid might help?!
2. Carry on with my half marathon training. This has been kind of dampened by a horrible virus that I caught in the middle of the month. I haven't been able to run for 2 weeks now and it's really annoying me. With two weeks until my half marathon I am hoping to get back into it this week.
3. Read some more. I have been doing a little more reading, but not as much as I would have liked to though.
4. Do some proper sorting. This is something I have done, packed a few more boxes and sorted through things that haven't been touched for years.
4. Do some proper sorting. This is something I have done, packed a few more boxes and sorted through things that haven't been touched for years.
5. Organise my blog. This hasn't been done, I just haven't found the time with being poorly.
6. Get into Lean in 15. I have cooked a few things, but again hope this will be something I can get into properly in the new house - when we finally get there.
Here is my March bucket list:
1. Do my half marathon. This hopefully will be an easy one to tick off the list with me already signed up to do it.
2. Get out and about. With spring looking like it is on it's way and our illnesses slowly lifting I want to get the boys out and about a bit more in the fresh air as this is where they love to be.
3. See more of our family. I have got to be honest that we have been a bit rubbish of late with seeing family. Weekends seem to get filled up and weeks past within the blink of an eye. I'm not going to use being busy as an excuse as we should always make time for family so I am giving myself a slap on the wrist and rectifying the situation.
4. Organise my blog. I'm sticking it in there again, so lets see if I do it this month.
5. Get back into eating a little healthier. With illness and the cold days my eating habits have got bad again. Biscuits in the evenings and not the healthiest of teas, so March is the month I get healthy for summer.
6. Get organised for my husbands 30th birthday! Mark will be turning 30 at the start of May and I have a few things up my sleeve that I need to sort out - exciting!!
Getting out and about, eating healthier and organizing my blog are on my list as well. May we both be successful at it. ~Lowanda of Sunshine and Elephants

ReplyDeleteHi Kirsty, sickness is a bummer and can throw a spanner in the works, but I hope you are fit and on target for your half marathon. Blog organizing is one of those things that is easy to put off as it doesn't really affect anyone, but us, fingers crossed that you get yours organized how you would like it this month.
ReplyDeleteSpring is the perfect season to start concentrating on eating better and getting out more, the days are longer and brighter and it seems easier to stay away from the junk when the weather is nice (or is that just me?).
xx
I really hope you're feeling all better now hon! Good luck for March, still in awe of your running!
