This week has been a pretty chilled one, based on previous weeks. With Finley being back at preschool we are slowing getting back to a nice routine and having more time at home.
Saturday saw me do a 10k race, I really enjoyed it, something I never thought I would say. I had my little supporters waiting for me at the finish line which was lovely. We then spent the evening with some lovely friends while the boys had a sleepover at Granny and Grampy's. It was lovely with lots of drinks, food and laughs, just what I needed after my run.
Sunday we just spent the morning going to the tip with some garden rubbish and then went to collect the boys from my Mums. I love time to myself but I also love collecting the boys - I miss them when I'm not with them.
On Monday we had lunch at a friends after viewing a house and then spent the afternoon at Westonbirt. We then went home and Finley decided to watch TV in his hi-vis jacket while sat in a wicker box - as you do!
Tuesday was a preschool day for Finley and Tumble Tots day for Noah. After Tumble Tots we had friends over for lunch and a lovely afternoon at home, much needed. Our Disneyland tickets landed on the doorstep which is making us more and more excited by the day.
On Wednesday we spent the day at home, we popped to the shops for some bits and came home with some magazines for the boys. They kept them occupied for a while and plastered the sofa in stickers.
Thursday was another preschool day for Finley, while Noah and I had a day out with my sister in law. It didn't go to plan and you can read about it here.
Now Friday was the big day, Noah started preschool with Finley. I wrote about his first day and how it made me feel in Today You Started Preschool. We took the boys to Pizza Hut for tea as a treat for being so good. It was an emotion filled day but it went so well. So proud of my two boys.
Now for a family weekend with some lovely family outings planned.
Oh that is a big milestone with Noah starting preschool with Finley - glad to hear that it went so well and how exciting that your Disneyland tickets have arrived - what a lovely thing to look forward to :-)
