As the boys get older their bond is growing stronger. And it's one that I can see and sometimes brings a tear to my eye. Finley loves his younger brother, yes he is a typical boy and is very rough and doesn't like to share 'his' toys, but he is so protective of him. There are little moments that I catch them really interacting like in the garden the other day Noah was in the play house and Finley was playing shops with him. Noah didn't have a clue what was going on but went along with it and it really was beautiful to see.
I always wanted children close together and I was lucky enough that it happened the way we had planned. There is 22 months between them and as they both grow up the gap seems to mentally get smaller for them as they both understand each other more.
My Captured Moment this week was from our walk home after collecting Finley from pre school on Monday. There is a little pathway between the main road and our house which I let the boys run free as it's safe with no cars. It normally takes 5 minutes to walk up this pathway but when they are both walking it takes about 20 minutes but it's an enjoyable slow walk as they get to explore and run off some energy. Well on Monday Finley all of a sudden stopped and said 'I want to hug Noah' and that is exactly what they did.
What proceeded this photo was them running along like this and obviously falling over but they were in fits of giggles.
These boys I know will be the best of friends and will always have each other's backs. And I know they will always look after their Mummy too.
That is a beautiful, touching photograph of your lovely boys! It's brilliant that they are such good friends already - such a special relationship x
ReplyDeleteAww what a wonderful picture of brotherly love. There's a 17 month gap between my two youngest girls; they're really close and are always together x
